Fading Soul

Updated: Nov 18

Mysteriously talking about a fading soul stuck in life consumed by fear about living in the bizarre world it existed in, “Fading Soul” by Rohit Damaraju talks about a soul who isn’t heard and is left to gaze into the darkness with no hope left.

Three months have passed

The wind bid bye

And yet... a thought

So mundane and lame

Scripting it’s daunting game

A block is for me

A speak in the grey

Three months have passed

And yet I get no thoughts to prey

I sit alone, the time withers

Aeons pass having jitters’

My shadow traces a weary path

The scorching sun goes down

The phoenix from the catacombs

Only for the longing that I fear...

The world tramples- I hear

And yet I’m here

Consumed in the inertia

Gazing a thought only in oblivion.
