Since sunrise, war horns were being blown, and men rushed into the capital on their horses. Forces from Primrose and the Lanterns adorned in their armour rode through the streets with their swords unsheathed. Elegant’s personal guards stood their ground at first, but when they saw how General Fair commanded his men to blind the captives rather than kill them, they fled for their lives.
