A twenty-three-year-old Aparna works at a shopping mall and is accused of theft one day. To walk out scout-free, she is to please her manager. Listening to bad advice, she caves in only for her mistake to be eternalised by somebody. What happened, and could Aparna save herself?

In a world ruled by a few barons, there is growing discontent amongst the educated youngsters who cannot help but see that everything is, more or less, actively designed to enhance mindless consumption. It tells the story of a youngster who feels more alienated from the society she lives in than ever before. Even when the modern world is offering more and more every day.

రెండేళ్ల అనుభవం ఉన్న జర్నలిస్ట్ వేదకు, తన ఎడిటర్ నుంచి ఒక సాధారణ అసైన్‌మెంట్ వస్తుంది. తీరంలో నాట్యం చేసే ఓ అమ్మాయి కథను కవర్ చేయమని. అది మరో ‘పఫ్ పీస్’ అనుకొని వెళ్లిన వేద, ఆ నర్తకిని కలిసిన తర్వాత ఆమె ముందుగా ఊహించినదానికంటే ఆ అమ్మాయిలో అపారమైన ప్రతిభ, లోతైన కథ ఉందని గ్రహిస్తుంది. క్షణకాలం వేద నిజాన్ని రాయాలనుకుంటుంది… కానీ ఆ నిజం అందరికీ నచ్చేది కాదని, అసలు అమ్ముడే పోదని గ్రహించి వెనక్కి తగ్గిపోతుంది. ఇంతకీ ఆ నిజం ఏంటి?

అపర్ణ రంగు మూలంగా ఎన్నో వివక్షలకు గురైంది. గుసగుసలు, వెక్కిరింపులు, “ఎలా తెల్లగా అవ్వాలి” అన్న ఉచిత సలహాలు, తక్కువ చేసి మాట్లాడే తోటి వారు, అన్నింటిని తాను సహించింది. “సమాజం ఇలాగే ఉంటుంది” అని సర్దుకుపోయింది. కానీ ఒక రోజు… పరులు మాత్రమే కాదు, తనకు అత్యంత చేరువైన వారు కూడా అదే దృష్టితో ఉన్నారని తెలిసినప్పుడు, అపర్ణ ఎలా స్పందించింది? ఆ సంఘటనని తను ఏ రకంగా స్వీకరించింది?
